Common Concerns about Mental Health
Many people have similar concerns about what is meant by ‘mental health’ and there is often considerable stigma about seeking support. This video addresses some of these concerns with input from religious leaders and healthcare professionals. This video uses the Somali language with English subtitles to open up the conversation to as many people as possible.

This downloadable resource is free for parents and carers and aims to educate them on how to make sure their children and young people are safe online. This resource is in Somali to enable parents to understand online safety. It splits up potential online risks into four categories; conduct, content, contact and commercialism. It gives potential conversation starters for talking to young people about their internet use. Following this is advice about what you can do right now, and SMART rules for young children with an alternative five tips for teens.
