#ListenToYourSelfie – The Party

(Featured resource)Relationships can be confusing. Especially if you really like someone but they do things you are not comfortable with. So think about what feels right for you and remember – always #ListenToYourSelfie.

If you are struggling with a relationship and you don’t know where to turn, talk to a trusted adult like a parent or a teacher. If you don’t feel like there is someone you can trust, you can always talk to Childline either through their freephone number or their online one to one chat service.

Consent for Kids

(Featured resource)Some things kids can’t consent to; they can’t enter into legal contracts, they can’t vote, and they can’t consent to sexual stuff because they’re kids. So if an adult does something that kids can’t consent to that’s not okay. This video aims to teach young people that their body is theirs alone and other people can not make decisions on what they can do with it.

Consent: It’s as Simple as Tea

(Featured resource)This is a lighthearted video about consent and sexual relationships. It compares the concept of consent to tea. If you can understand how completely ludicrous it is to force people to drink tea when they don’t want tea, and you are able to understand when people don’t want tea, then how hard is it to understand when it comes to sex? Whether it’s tea or sex, consent is everything.

Talking about Consent

This is a free to access resource, created by Family Lives, which is freely available through YouTube. This video includes young people discussing consent in relationships, and how to respect consent.
