This is a video created by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection command (CEOP), this video looks at the what could happen if a person does not keep their information private when online. The video shows the audience member how easy it is to piece together information about a person, and use that information to find them and prey on them. This video is in English, but as Polish subtitles.
Clare Thought She Knew (Polish Subtitles)
This is a free to access resource available through YouTube and created by CEOP. The video is short, 3 minutes 8 seconds long and explores the issue of child sexual exploitation. The video shows how people involved in child sexual exploitation, get control of their victims, and how they victims can get help. This video is in English but as Polish subtitles.
Matt Thought He Knew – Polish (Subtitled)
This is a short, 4 minute video, which looks at Matt’s story. Matt befriended, what he thought was a young female, online. Matt tells of how he goes to meet this girl, it turns out that it was in fact an older man. The message from the video is, to know who you are talking to, keep information private, never meet up with people, who you only know online and always report an unwanted behaviour. This video is in English but as Polish subtitles.
Online Safety Jigsaw for 8 – 10 Year Olds – Polish (Subtitled)
This is a free to access resource, available through YouTube. The video is 8 minutes and 33 seconds long. The video looks at online safety, during the video young people are interviewed in relation to what information they give to people in the real world. they are then asked about what they people online. This resource teaches the importance of privacy settings, and the reporting of such issues. This video is in English, but has Polish subtitles.
