The All Party Parliamentary Group on Body Image conducted an inquiry into the causes and consequences of body image dissatisfaction. During this inquiry a number of institutions, organisations and individuals gave evidence about body image and how it is affected by a number of factors and how it can leave a lasting effect on individuals. The report contains three sections; growing up, the mis-sold ideal and body image and health.

This downloadable document contains guidance and advice for teachers when providing lessons on body image and body confidence. This booklet covers a variety of topics such as how to plan lessons around body image, how to promote positive body image, how to work with parents, and address the needs of vulnerable groups.
