Wud U? App

The Wud U? app gives young people access to; a variety of stories through which young people can gain an understanding of child sexual exploitation, find out how to make good decisions and prevent child sexual exploitations, get support if a young person or their friend is vulnerable to child sexual exploitation and finally share awareness of child sexual exploitation through sharing the Wud U? application.

Barnardos markets this app towards health care professionals and teachers in order to raise its exposure to young people and use it as a starting point for a bigger discussion about child sexual exploitation.

The app offers a fun and interesting way to find out more information about child sexual exploitation which is a hard topic to deal with. It’s an interesting take on delivering this type of material that is especially suited to a large proportion of young people these days who are never more than 5 metres away from their mobile phones.
