Whole Family Pathway
Young carers do not care in isolation from the rest of their family. Although they may need support for themselves, their needs should also be considered and met in the context of their whole family. That is why The Children’s Society stresses the importance of the whole-family approach, and has developed the whole family pathway.
This resource is not designed as a book to be read from cover to cover; instead it is an electronic tool for all practitioners to use and access the information and ‘sections’ of the Pathway most useful to them in their role.
This is an electronic helpbook for professionals in every area from education, to health and social professionals.
