WellMind is a free iOS and Android app from Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. It is designed to help you with stress, anxiety and depression. It includes advice, tips and tools to improve you mental health and boost your wellbeing. On this app you can find information about your wellbeing, help with depression, help with stress, help with anxiety, help in a crisis, and ways to relax.
This application provides relaxing audio files, handy wellbeing tips, access to national helpline numbers, five easy tips to improve your mental health, a body map to see how your mental health can affect your physical health and lots of self help guides to help you take control of your mental health.
Applications like this definitely have a place in the smartphone generation. It allows young people to take control over their own mental health, and was created by the NHS in Walsall and Dudley. The application is well designed and the inclusion of games to help young people relax is beneficial.
