Presentation: Talking about Emotional Well Being in School

Talking about emotional wellbeing in schools is a product from the BOND consortium. BOND (Better Outcomes New Delivery) was a Department for Education funded project to increase the capacity of the voluntary and community sector to deliver early intervention for youth mental health.

In recognition of the crucial part played by schools in promoting the wellbeing of children and young people, this presentation was created as a way of initiating conversations that would bypass the usual issues of language and instead focus on simple, actionable ways of exploring mental health and emotional well being that can be shared by all professionals.

This resource was created by YoungMinds in collaboration with BOND in order to train Education professional in reducing the stigma attached to mental health and start talking to young people about their emotional wellbeing. The presentation is comprehensive and easy to follow.
