It covers topics such as why an individual should come out, how they could tell people and offers topics for consideration for those going through the coming out process.

The resource also covers coming out as a transgender youth and how this differs from coming out as an LGBT youth. It also signposts to articles about how parents and carers can help a youth through the process of coming out.


This is a great resources as it lays out all the steps that a young person may go through when making the decision to ‘come out’. It offers guidance for youths on the different methods to come out as well as advising on the possible implications of the method chosen.
