Bright Futures: Hope’s Story

Hope Virgo was referred to CAMHS by her schools but didn’t take it seriously and her eating disorder started to get worse. She ended up in hospital before getting the help she needed to battle her eating disorder. Today, she is a mental health advocate, championing a broader understanding of mental health issues and the need for early intervention.

Hope is amazing in this video. She shares her story about how she didn’t really engage in CAMHS and had to be hospitalised before her treatment was taken seriously.
